The application procedure implies a series of simple steps which you can find in the main page under “How to apply” subsection. Firstly, it is necessary to submit concept note in one page, where the urgency of the project, including the link with SGP strategy and focal area, innovation, planned budget and implementation schedule will be covered. After studying your concept, you will be asked to present project application and budget with more detailed information regarding project implementation objective, expected results and social, environmental and capacity development benefits. The application packages should be sent electronically to National Coordinator at [email protected] email.

SGP Armenia accepts grant applications exclusively from the national NGOs without foreign founders, periodically throughout the year.

The main requirement of the GEF is the co-financing 1:1 ratio: cash and in-kind (labor, utilization of the equipment, materials and others) with equal investment proportions. The grants can be awarded for projects covering the steppe and forest landscapes of the middle mountainous zone at altitudes of 1400-2400 m.
